Top Tips: If your broadband is so slow then you may have poor quality internal wiring leading to a drop in data speeds. Before having SKY installed conscider having a socket put near your TV and avoid unsightly (and poor quality) wiring. Many “DIY” telephone extensions use low quality aluminium signal wire or braided wires designed for alarm installation and not recommended for extensions that will be used on an ADSL enabled line otherwise known as “Broadband” as the signal quality is poor and has little or no protection from interference.
