Thank you for visiting, our origins are steeped in mystery and folklore
- what we can be sure of is that in 1893 the society was very much alive!  
 
And after a brief 'pause' Buxted Bonfire Society was re-ignited in 2016
and since then our family friendly society has firmly set down its roots.
